Name of the Group?

Chris: The Next Generation. Or TNG. An abbreviation is Next Gen

Robert: The Next Generation

Mario: NEXT GEN. NEXT GENERATION. THE NEXT GENERATION

Tad: The Next Generation.

John: Next Gen

How many people are in it; list each person and describe their positions?

Chris – photoshops the designs/promo/money

Tad – promo internet stuff.

John – design ideas

Mario – design ideas/finances

Christian - photoshop

What formed you all & how did you know you wanted to represent this?

Chris: We just basically kicked it with each other at school. So why not just come together and do something more? We always do stupid stuff so why not record some of it? Make sweatshirts and stuff and make some money.

Robert: Mario came up with the idea, him and john isaacs brought us all together. We all basically just said this would be dope af so lets do it.

Mario: We was like fuck other expensive ass clothing brands. So We made our own shit

Tad- We all been friends for a while, and we’ve had some other ideas but this one really stuck. We all have similar mindsets and styles so we decided to form something to get our unique ideas out.

John: Well were just some non-average kids doing shit that we want to do.

Your message to people through Next Gen?

Chris: do you. Do what you want. Not really just “fuck society” but be yourself. Hustle and get to where you want to be.

Robert: We are the Next Generation. lets act accordingly.

Mario: Do whatever stimulates you the most

Tad: Our message is to make people really think about shit that’s going on around them. The world’s really bigger then your little circle of society.

John: My message to people through next gen; is live live how you want to live it, dont let others live your live for you.

Future projects you are excited to work on?

Chris: I just want to print more stuff- t shirts and stuff. Hopefully the more popular we get the more stuff we can print and get our name out there. We got booku ideas.

Robert: Pocket T’s, Crew-necks, Music, Webisodes

Mario: Collab with the homie blake. Clothes with more colors (no homo)

Tad: get started on the music aspect of Next Gen. I’ve been writing a lot over the last couple years waiting or my opportunity.

John: Future projects i plan on working on is starting up some FUCKIN’ Music, and making videos would be cool as well.

What is the exact goal of the company?

Chris: Kick it, have a good time. Get a name
Robert: As of right now, GROW and provide a dope ass example for the Next Generation.

Mario: originality and success

Tad: To broaden people’s horizons and to really change our generation.

John: The goal of the company to me is to… live up?? i dont really know yet.

The dream person / people / group to work &/or collaborate with would be?

Chris: Probably Corrupt Orginiality. Geeze any big name that would want to collab. I’m with it. I always collab with Supreme in my dreams

Robert: fuuucck, i’d be down to collab with Corrupt Originality for now

Mario: old navy

John: Honestly, i just want to met MIA and give her next kid. oh and yea i like MF Doom too.

Tad: me personally I would love to work with Kanye on music. He’s been like my  idol musically and my inspiration on some no homo shit.

Describe the biggest risk you are willing to take with your company.

Chris: All money in. we already did that.

Robert: Putting a shit load of money into it

Mario: Become a trap nigguh to make money to produce new clothes

Tad: I’m willing to risk it all really. Financially, time wise, social life. I’m all in.

John: The biggest risk i would take for the company is to through myself out to all devotion to this company.

Define: Originality

Chris: An idea or style that originates within yourself. It also can come from outside influences that you have experienced that comes together to form its own unique idea.

Robert: Originality is doing the unexpected, creating, doing or being someone that no expected you to be, do or create.

Mario: Do your own shit. Even if people say your swag is weird or ordinary

Tad: Originality is not conforming to society’s standards or expectations for you and just doing being who you wanna be regardless of others opinion.

John: Theres no such thing as originality, everybody is inspired by somebody else who people thought was original but truly wasn’t. Originality is having to balls to admit who inspired you to be who you are, and having the dick to live it

How has clothing evolved, for better or for worse over the years?

Chris: I mean, there been some skinny jeans and stuff. Nikes vs. Vans.. It depends who you are to determine what’s good or bad. Jerkin’ and skinny jeans was kind of a downfall. But hey I admit I jerked, I was part of the hype sadly.

Robert: Some clothing has evolved for the better, things are becoming way less baggy and way more tight, i would like to meet somewhere in the middle.

Mario: It hasn’t yet

Tad: Clothing is always evolving. For a while something is gonna be the hot shit then everyone starts wearing it and it’s on to the next brand. Young people are always looking to find that new brand that defines them and that changes as society changes. We’re trying to be the brand that can last through different generations.

John: It depends on the different groups. Different clothing changes in different ways.

Top 3 brands that inspire your clothes?

Chris: man I don’t even know. Me and the homie usually just be posted in class throwin out ideas instead of paying attention. We’ll see some shit and be like that’s tight. But then we throw our own twist into it to make it completely different.

Robert: shiiit, idk.

Mario: MNWKA. OLD SCHOOL FRESHJIVE. PRO CLUB WHITE TEES

Tad: I’d say Diamond supply, Supreme, Mishka.

John: Personally i like huf, undefeated, bape, bbc and soo much more.

Audience you are directing your media to?

Chris: Anybody but mostly the youth I guess. We are “The Next Generation”

Robert: The Next Generation. Evolve as our culture does.

Mario: anyone from our generation.

Tad: Young people most definitely. This is a brand for the next generation made by the next generation.

John: All the socially awkward nobodies, skaters. fuck basketball players, football players, soccer players  and the rest of them faggots.

Are there any links that you would like the people to check out?

Chris/John/Robert/Tad: http://the-next-gen.tumblr.com/ it shows some of our clothes I guess.

Mario: bloodshows.com/

Why shouldn’t we sleep on you?

Chris: if you sleep on us, before you know it we gonna be up there doing it big, and you gonna wish you hadn’t. The people that are with us heavy gonna get benefits. TRUST.

Robert: Because we’re the future of clothing. duh. we are the Next Gen of clothing, you’re going to be seeing a lot of us.

Mario: Cuz real ass nigguhs tryna make it in life

Tad: We’re new but were growing, we’re a bunch of niggas with ambition who are dedicated to success.

John: Because were something thats going to make it far in life, promise.

Explain the story behind the name.

Rachael: Hanging out with Big Sean for the first time
